What does this mean?

Each and every year, our employees must pass the REC’s mandatory compliance test. This is to provide you with the confidence that Prime Aero conducts ourselves ethically and adheres to the REC’s best practice policy.

Why is it important to work with an REC accredited recruitment agency?

Did you know that anyone can start up a recruitment company? You don’t require any specific qualifications or experience. As a client looking to grow your team, this means you could potentially be exposing yourself to the risk of a significant loss of time and/or money if you place your trust in the wrong Recruitment organisation.

Fortunately in the UK there is a professional body for the staffing industry named the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). The role of this organisation is to accredit and support credible and compliant agencies. To become a member of the REC an agency needs to successfully pass the REC compliance test on a frequent basis. The REC approved agency must ensure that all of its employees are able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the REC Code of Professional Practice, a knowledge of relevant industry legislation whilst also ensuring they make a commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Not all organisations pass the REC’s membership application process…

In 2015, the REC released figures stating there were 193 agencies who were denied membership because they fell short of the required compliance standards.
